Vittorio is executive chairman and co-founder of Velotrade, a Hong Kong-based online marketplace that brings together businesses willing to sell their trade receivables with investors willing to advance funds.
He originally moved to Hong Kong in 2008 and became the Head of Equity Derivatives Brokerage at Louis Capital Markets.
Previously Vittorio worked in several professional banking and finance industry roles. He joined Bank of America London as a Managing Director and co-head of the Equity Derivatives Trading team. At JP Morgan and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London he was an Equity Derivatives trader.
Vittorio graduated in 1993 from Bocconi University of Milan in Monetary Economics.

Francis is the International Development Lead, Incubation and Acceleration at the Hong Kong Science Park, a leading Innovation Ecosystem in Asia (900+ tech companies, 9000+ R&D professionals). He is responsible for driving international awareness and participation for a range of startup and scale-up programs that seed an Asian technology innovation ecosystem from HK.
Before joining HKSTP, Francis worked in strategic program development, in APAC regional and global capacities, with names like Dell, Cisco and TE Connectivity, having been based in Japan, Singapore and now HK. He has a mechanical engineering degree from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business. Francis has also completed a corporate executive program from The Wharton School and an innovation management program at UC Berkeley.

Kevin started his career at Jabil the 3rd largest Contract Manufacturer globally & Radius Innovation and Development helping industry leading brands develop and scale complex hardware solutions. In 2018 Kevin joined Brinc, Hong Kong’s longest running and most active venture accelerator. Kevin mentors dozens of global founders annually on how to navigate the challenges of product development, identifying the right development and supply chain partners and how to effectively transition to manufacturing in the GBA.

Alan is a seasoned banker with 30 years of experience in trade and commodities finance. Alan is currently the Executive Chairman & Chief Risk Officer of FundPark, a Hong Kong based fintech platform focusing on trade and supply chain finance. FundPark is backed by various leading Venture Capitalists in the region, including The Innovation and Technology Venture Fund Corp under the Hong Kong Government, and is partnering with leading e-commerce platforms, including one of the largest B2C e-commerce platforms in China. Before engaging in the fintech segment in mid 2017, Alan was the Head of Commodities at HSBC Hong Kong, and the Greater China Regional Head of Commodities Trade and Agri-business at Standard Chartered Bank respectively. Given Alan’s expertise and professional background, he was appointed as an Expert Witness in a litigation case related to commodities financing under trial in the High Court of Hong Kong SAR (2017 to 2020). Besides his career in finance and banking, Alan also teaches as a part-time lecturer at the Master of Applied Finance Program jointly organized by Macquarie University (Australia) and Tsinghua University (China). He was appointed Adjunct Professor of the City University of Hong Kong (2013 to 2016).

Jayne is Head of StartmeupHK at InvestHK, the government department responsible for attracting and retaining Foreign Direct Investment into Hong Kong. StartmeupHK is InvestHK’s startup division established in 2014, aimed at attracting innovative startups, investors and other stakeholders to Hong Kong, provide a one-stop service platform to support these companies setting up in the city, promote Hong Kong as a premier startup destination and help build our ecosystem to transform the city into a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The StartmeupHK Festival is one of the key platforms organised by the team to attract international startup communities to Hong Kong, to share and network with local innovators, corporates and showcase the city’s success stories. The annual event in January 2019 attracted over 17,000 participants, and representation from over 50 countries, with events in key sectors where Hong Kong has distinct competitive advantages, namely financial technology (fintech), Internet of things (IOT), health technology, retail technology and smart city.
Prior to joining InvestHK, Jayne was Executive Director at the HK chapter of TiE, a global non-profit network focused on fostering entrepreneurship in the markets in which they operate, and management roles at advertising & digital agencies, startup incubator, management consulting and manufacturing companies.

For over 10 years, Spencer has accumulated a wealth of experience in sponsorship, tech startups, trade promotion, conferences, organized events, and solid know-how on mainland China collaboration with local government bodies, trade unions and business communities. He joined HKSTP in 2018 as Senior Manager, Business Development to drive and manage business collaborations and support services to assist tech startups, technology transfer from universities, and to catalyze technology and business development of partner/ client companies.
Before joining HKSTP, Spencer served a number of business leadership roles in various companies, including Assistant Director of Sales, Ocean Park Corporation, Director of Lan Kwai Fong Association and Sales Director of Business Executive Education. He was responsible for the project and event management, sales strategy and collaboration with major MNCs. Prior to that, he worked for Hong Kong Trade Development Council for 9 years, which was the starting point of his career.
Spencer graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Software Engineering Information System and Business Administration.

Rico Tang is Senior Manager, Fintech Team Lead of Cyberport. Rico is leading the development of Cyberport’s FinTech and blockchain eco-system among different stakeholders including start-ups, mid-sized and established players by driving strategic initiatives, collaboration and community building.
Mr. Tang has over 20 years of experience in financial technology, exchange business, global market data, regional business management and pension fund. Prior to joining Cyberport, he was the founder of a HK based blockchain technology company; and had also held various senior positions in global financial technology company and financial institutions, including Thomson Reuters and Reuters Hong Kong Fund Management.
Mr. Tang holds a BA. (Hon) degree in Accounting and Financial Management from University of Essex, and a Master degree in Business Administration from City University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Law was born in the Mainland of China. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong and holds a degree in actuarial science. He joined the Hong Kong civil service in 2001.
He began his civil service career in the then Transport Branch, assisting in formulating and implementing policies on different modes of public transport. Throughout his years of public service, he has served in posts with a range of portfolios from district administration initiatives to promoting innovation and technology. He has also served in the Development Bureau, with responsibilities over land polices and related administration issues.
Mr. Law assumed his office in the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Jakarta in December 2018. Before that, he had served in the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Washington DC for almost four years. He handled Hong Kong’s economic and trade relations with the United States, particularly multilateral and bilateral issues that concern both economies. He had also previously served in the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore to foster closer ties between the ASEAN and Hong Kong.
The Director-General of the Jakarta Office is the most senior representative of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSARG) to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). As the Director-General, Mr. Law oversees HKSARG’s liaison with the ASEAN Secretariat and also matters between Hong Kong and the ASEAN as a whole. He directs efforts in enhancing bilateral relations with four ASEAN countries in particular, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam and the Philippines. The Jakarta Office, together with the other Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices in the region, strives to further strengthen Hong Kong’s bilateral and multilateral trade, economic and cultural relations with the ASEAN region.
