The two-storey co-working space “Smart-Space PropTech” , jointly established by the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) and Cyberport, starts operation at the HKHS’s new regional office “HS Centre” in Fanling today. It signifies the pioneering PropTech development in the northern metropolis, and drives Hong Kong Smart City Development.
The collaboration between HKHS and Cyberport initially sets for five years and includes a proof-of-concept (PoC) programme. HKHS will share its knowledge and experience in housing development and management, as well as field trial opportunities in HKHS properties, while Cyberport will provide entrepreneurial guidance and organisational activities to inspire startups to develop and implement innovative technology products and solutions in the PropTech sector.
Since July, the co-working space has welcomed 13 startups focused on PropTech products and solutions.
The co-working space is also among the first venue to adopt innovative technological products developed by Cyberport start-ups, such as workplace robots and smart phone booth, to showcase the application and integration of smart technology. We are committed to creating a smart and healthy working environment, and use green and recyclable materials to achieve sustainable operations, and test and adopt the environmental, social and governance (ESG) solutions cultivated by Cyberport startups to monitor and manage the environment impacts.
