The 3rd Hong Kong SciTech Pioneers Award 2023-2024

The Hong Kong SciTech Pioneer Award aims to recognize and celebrate the valuable contributions of outstanding scientists and research teams in the fields of Deep Tech, Biotechnology, Space Science, ESG, and Future Innovation.

As we embark on the third year of this prestigious event, it has become a signature initiative of Y-LOT, showcasing our commitment to fostering scientific excellence. This year, we are proud to collaborate with Henderson Land Group, further enhancing the event’s significance.

Our goal is to explore and appreciate emerging talents from these five dynamic fields. By doing so, we aim to contribute to the advancement of science and technology development in Hong Kong, nurturing potential SciTech Pioneers who will lead the way in innovation and research for the future.

【The Award】
1、One Awardee will be chosen in each category:
-Deep Tech Pioneering Research Team – Cash Prize HK$15,000
-Biotechnology Pioneering Research Team – Cash Prize HK$15,000
-Space Science Emerging Scientist – Cash Prize HK$10,000
-ESG Emerging Scientist – Cash Prize HK$10,000
-Future Innovation Emerging Scientist – Cash Prize HK$10,000

2、All Awardees will receive:
-A trophy of recognition
-The cash prize
-Exclusive Exchange Tour to a leading I&T city at the Yangtze Delta region in Mainland China in April/May 2025
-Attend Pre-award workshop at Henderson Land Group’s property
-Receive feedback on your proposal from Henderson Land Group’s judging panel
-Engage in meaningful discussions with Henderson Land Group’s representatives and learn from their expertise
-Opportunities for potential funding
