TEDxSheungWan is part of the Global Initiative of TED Countdown, formed by a group of individuals committing to make our community a better place. We are excited to bring Countdown to Hong Kong. If we are to curb large enough amounts of greenhouse gas emissions, collaboration across various communities is needed. Innovation in all industries will be required to protect the health and stability of our future and future generations to come. Every person counts: you can make a difference.

TEDx
TEDx is a TED-affiliated program that is self-organized to bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxSheungWan, where x means this is an independently organized TED event. TEDTalks video and live speakers will be at our event to spark deep discussion and connection in a group setting. While the TED Conference provides general guidance for our TEDx program, this is a self-organized event.

* All activities will follow the guidelines set at that time for social distancing and gathering in numbers limitations. Food will not be provided under the current social gathering policies.
* Full-refund will be provided for participants if the event encounter cancelation for unresistible reasons.
