As a major incubation programme fully supported and funded by Create Hong Kong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and managed by Hong Kong Design Centre, Design Incubation Programme (DIP) aims to nurture design start-ups at the early stage of their business development, with hardware and software support.
Since 2006, DIP had nurtured design start-ups of various design disciplines and helping them to meet the challenges at the early and critical stage of development. Successful applicants of this 2-year programme will enjoy a variety of support services including ready-to-use office, financial subsidies, business development and networking opportunities with industrial organisations, academic institutes, investment angels, professional bodies and potential business partners. Hong Kong Design Centre started managing DIP since 2012.
Start-up companies of different design disciplines are welcomed to apply:
Product Design, Fashion Design, Branding/Packaging, Jewelry Design, Visual/ Spatial Arts, Media & Communication & Interior/Architecture, etc.
