The 2021 Youth Summit Competition calls for innovative proposals for scalable enterprises that fuel a greener, more inclusive and resilient recovery. Established in 2013, the Youth Summit is an annual event hosted by the World Bank Group (WBG) to engage with youth globally on the most pressing topics facing our generation.
The Competition is open to individuals or teams of up to five people aged 18 to 35 across the globe. Shortlisted participants will have the chance to network with young social entrepreneurs around the world, to participate in the workshops, to present virtually at the WBG 2021 Youth Summit on June 9 – 10, 2021 in front of a judging panel of industry experts, and to win seed-funding.
Competition themes:
– A Resilient recovery for the People: Empower people in fighting the consequences of the pandemic and address growing inequality in societies;
OR
– A Resilient recovery for the Planet: Provide sustainable solutions to support the halt of climate change.

2021年青年峰会的主题是“人与地球的韧性复苏”。
2021年世界银行集体青年峰会将于2021年6月9至10日以虚拟形式举行，而青年峰会创意大赛截止日期为2021年3月31日。(按此提交项目建议书) 。
新冠肺炎疫情造成的经济困难、生命损失和人类痛苦是前所未有的，既凸显出我们社会存在的不足，也发出了行动号召，要求我们采取实际、包容、可持续的行动。2021年青年峰会的核心主题是提供一个全球对话的机会，强调青年在应对气候变化影响、审视促进人与地球韧性复苏的措施与机遇中的作用。
以人为中心的复苏旨在提升福祉，鼓励包容，通过创造就业机会、技能培训和公平教育，以及减少性别和种族不平等，提高住房和医疗可及性，为脆弱国家创造机会获得资助，推动围绕如何减缓气候变化影响展开对话。
以地球为中心的复苏旨在减少我们的碳足迹，通过逐步推进绿色转型，减少消费主义的不利影响，鼓励减少浪费。并强调可持续基础设施项目投资，立法防止生物多样性进一步流失，生产本土化缩短供应链，激励企业推进联合国可持续发展目标。
