About BEC Carbon Disclosure Programme
Business Environment Council (“BEC”) has introduced the Carbon Disclosure Programme (“the Programme”) in 2022 to bolster support for BEC Net-zero Carbon Charter signatories, their business alliances, and the broader corporate sector in the realm of climate-related disclosures. With support from HSBC, BEC has partnered with CDP on its Supply Chain Program and has allocated specific slots for companies to join as participants. This initiative offers companies a vital chance to acclimate to climate-related reporting, ensuring data relevance in accordance with the guidelines set out by GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and TCFD’s recommendations, while having their participation expenses covered by the Programme.
